Second Chance Ranch is a 501c3 nonprofit animal rescue sanctuary
dedicated to equine welfare, specializing in rehabilitation,
adoption and transitioning of race horses. We are located in Elma, Washington, in Grays
Harbor County (we are NOT affiliated with the Second Chance Ranch
organizations in Sedro Woolley, Sequim, or Vancouver).
"Animals are
more than ever a test of our character, of mankind's capacity for
empathy and for decent, honorable conduct and faithful stewardship.
We are called to treat them with kindness, not because they have
rights, power or a claim to equality, but in a sense, because they
don't. They all stand unequal and powerless before us."
